These two vintage Goebel ice bark textured drinking glasses can be conveniently held in hand due to their heavily textured bark-like surface. But there is something still more interesting about them: they have a clear un-textured glass rim to provide a smooth surface for the lips of the drinker. The glasses have heavy textured glass bottoms. Goebel (famous for making porcelain figurines) is not well known in the glass industry. This barware was produced during the popularity of Scandinavian Mid Century tree bark textured glass pieces, by manufacturers such as Iittala, Lasisepat, and Kosta Boda. Perfect condition. Measures 8cm diameter and 8cm tall.
